





MILFORD, NH, June 1, 2005 — Citadel Computer Corporation today introduced a major display enhancement across its popular Vista-XL™ family of rugged industrial wireless touch screen computers. This advanced "sunlight-readable" enhancement provides dramatically improved contrast, viewability and color rendition in high ambient light conditions.
Citadel's new Sunlight-Readable (S/R) option is now available across the entire Vista-XL™ product series including Citadel's Vista-10XL™, Vista-12XL™ and Vista-15XL™ systems. This advanced technology screen enhancement facilitates comfortable display viewing and reduces eye-strain in direct sunlight and other bright lighting conditions. The Sunlight-Readable option facilitates installations exposed to direct sunlight and supports applications that range from geophysical mapping and marine navigation and charting to graphics-intensive well-site data logging in the petroleum industry.
All Vista-XL™ touch screen computers are engineered to deliver reliable performance despite challenging extremes of physical shock, vibration and temperature. Options include fully-sealed configurations rated to NEMA-4X / IP-66 with internal display and CPU heaters for use in sub-zero "in-freezer" or "cold-soak" installations in extreme, weather-exposed environments.
