Citadel awarded sole-source government contract

MILFORD, NH, September 30, 2005 — Citadel Computer Corporation has been awarded a sole-source government contract for advanced configurations of the company's Vista-XL™ industrial computer systems. Citadel's Vista-15XL™ rugged wireless computers are being deployed as part of an extreme environment mobile field security system for government personnel. Citadel's Vista-15XL™ systems are widely installed in industrial settings for graphic's intensive applications.

Citadel's Vista-XL™ product family includes the Vista-10XL™, Vista-12XL™ and Vista-15XL™—offering a range of display sizes in rugged, compact packages tailored to both mobile and fixed-mount installations in industrial or military applications.

All Vista-XL™ touch screen computers are engineered to deliver reliable performance despite challenging extremes of physical shock, vibration and temperature. Options include fully-sealed configurations rated to NEMA-4X / IP-66 with internal display and CPU heaters for use in sub-zero "in-freezer" or "cold-soak" installations in extreme, weather-exposed environments.
